Celtic wrapped up a third consecutive league title in style at Rugby Park last week as Brendan Rodgers exorcised his Ayrshire demons with a 5-0 victory.
Killie were dismantled by goals from Adam Idah, preferred to Kyogo Furuhashi from the start; Daizen Maeda, on hand to bundle home the second; James Forrest, continuing his resurgent form with a third; and Matt O'Riley, who chipped in with a brace in what could have been Celtic's best performance of the season.
Brendan Rodgers decided to ring the changes on Trophy Day three days later but Celtic still got the job done with a 3-2 victory over St Mirren.
Top scorers Matt O'Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi took their tallies to 19 each for the season, with Luis Palma notching the winner to ensure that Celtic stuck to the script on a day of celebration.
Rodgers managed to get his side to click at just the right time to get the league championship over the line, but how will the form of the last two matches influence team selection when we face Rangers in the Scottish Cup final?
KILMARNOCK PLAYER RATINGS
Joe Hart - 7
Hart wasn't at his busiest on the night, but provided the big saves when he was needed before relishing the post-match celebrations.
Alistair Johnston - 7
The Canadian has really upped his game in an attacking sense, and he added a phenomenal assist for Daizen Maeda's goal as well as handling his defensive duties with ease.
Cameron Carter-Vickers - 7
Carter-Vickers was a brick wall at the back, unfazed by everything that the home side threw at him.
Liam Scales - 7
Scales handled the physical threat of Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins with relative ease as he rediscovered his early season form as the campaign neared its conclusion.
Greg Taylor - 7
Looking more like the man who tore things up under Ange Postecoglou, Taylor returned to the ground that he once called home and strolled down the left-hand side all night.
Matt O'Riley - 9
The Danish cap controlled proceedings at Rugby Park, playing a part in every goal. He played a brilliant pass for the opener, then scored another two cracking goals in what is becoming a vintage campaign.
Callum McGregor - 7
The captain secured another league title for Celtic as he continues to enjoy success in what has been a trophy-laden spell at the club.
Reo Hatate - 7
The Japanese playmaker had a massive part to play in Maeda's goal as he showed the flair that made the Celtic support fall in love with him in the first place.
James Forrest - 8
The veteran winger was brilliant for the opener, before grabbing a goal of his own as he continued a brilliant spell of form at the end of the season. By winning this league, James Forrest has become the second most successful player in the club's history, rubber-stamping his status as a bonafide Celtic legend.
Adam Idah - 8
Idah scored the type of goal we have seen him score so often this season, and he caused all sorts of problems for the home side with his pace and power. A must-sign for Brendan Rodgers this summer.
Daizen Maeda - 8
The Japanese winger was electric on the night as he grabbed Celtic's second goal. His return from injury has proved fruitful for the champions at a key stage of the season.
ST MIRREN PLAYER RATINGS
Joe Hart - 6
Hart will have been disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet in the final league game of his career. No doubt the tifo and the celebrations that followed the full-time whistle will have made up for it.
Anthony Ralston - 6
The dependable backup was brought in for a rare start in place of Alistair Johnston, and was caused a few problems by Toyosi Olusanya and Scott Tanser as St Mirren started the game well. The Scotland cap recovered well in the second-half and provided an excellent cross for Luis Palma's winning goal.
Stephen Welsh - 4
Welsh didn't have the return to the starting XI he would have wanted. He lost the ball then gave away a penalty in calamitous fashion after 26 minutes. It didn't get much better for Welsh, who struggled to contain Olusanya before being withdrawn with an injury after 66 minutes.
Maik Nawrocki - 6
The seldom-seen Nawrocki had to step up on his return to the team with a brilliant block to deny Olusanya, but looked weak at points when St Mirren were attacking.
Greg Taylor - 6
The only regular starter in the defence, Taylor was under pressure to perform in a makeship backline. The left-back was the most solid and confident of Celtic's starting defenders, and even got to wear the captain's armband late in the game.
Matt O'Riley - 7
O'Riley ended a phenomenal league campaign with a well-taken strike. He was solid on the ball across the 90 minutes, and has undoubtedly been Celtic's best player this season.
Callum McGregor - 6
McGregor led by example in the middle of the park, but will be frustrated he couldn't have done more to prevent the opening goal. He was given a rest late in the game, coming off in the 77th minute.
Reo Hatate - 6
It was another quiet afternoon for Reo Hatate, but as always, he popped up with a bright moment as he provided an assist for Celtic's second equaliser of the day.
Nicolas Kuhn - 5
The German was brought back into the team but didn't do enough to seal his place in the team for the final, looking very nervous and hesitant going forward all afternoon.
Kyogo Furuhashi - 7
Pressed well allowing O'Riley to grab Celtic's first, and also grabbed a goal for his efforts. He should have had an assist on the afternoon as well, with Palma spurning a tremendous cross.
Luis Palma - 7
Everything was coming down the left for Celtic in the first-half, and Palma was providing some dangerous corner-kicks. He should have been on the scoresheet in the first-half following an excellent cross by Kyogo but he made amends by netting the winning goal.
