After what has been a frustrating few transfer windows for Celtic, supporters will have some high expectations for this summer's recruitment drive.
Brendan Rodgers has been critical in the media over his disappointment in the club's recent transfer dealings, and a number of potential outgoings over the next few months all indicate towards this being a very busy window for Celtic.
It was announced earlier this month that Mark Lawwell was to leave the club, with fans in no doubt that this departure was due to the poor signing record during his time as Head of Recruitment. This summer could show just how big a part Lawwell had to play in some of Celtic's poor business over the last 12 months.
We expect an active window for Celtic, but what will be the biggest transfer stories to come out of Parkhead this summer?
Replacing Joe Hart
Joe Hart has been a key figure in this Celtic team over the last three seasons, and despite his flaws, he is going to be a very difficult player for Celtic to replace.
The experience he brings to the team is key, and with Hart hanging up the gloves at the end of this season, Celtic will be on the lookout for a new number one.
High-profile names have been linked previously such as Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher and Real Madrid's Andriy Lunin, but the pair's recent involvement in their respective club's European endeavours will most likely price Celtic out of a move for either of them.
The name currently doing the rounds at the moment is Etienne Vaessen. The 28-year-old keeper currently plays for KRC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie, and with his contract up at the end of the season, he could be a player that the club look to turn to.
What Happens With Matt O'Riley?
Matt O'Riley has been a player of interest for some of Europe's biggest clubs over the last few transfer windows, with Champions League quarter-finalists Atletico Madrid seeing a bumper bid rejected for the Dane towards the end of the January transfer window.
Recent years have shown us that Celtic can only keep a hold of their best players for so long, and it looks like the club are already preparing for life without Matt O'Riley beyond this season, with a permanent deal for Paulo Bernardo being the rumoured solution should O'Riley depart the club this summer.
Will Celtic Sign a New Striker?
A position that Celtic will definitely be in the market for this summer is a new striker. Kyogo Furuhashi will be turning 30 next season, Oh Hyeon-gyu hasn't been performing under Brendan Rodgers, and Adam Idah is only in Glasgow on a temporary basis.
The club have reportedly been frustrated that they didn't insert an option-to-buy in the Irishman's loan deal, but the club could still look to turn this six-month loan deal into a permanent move this summer.
Links to the likes of Mathias Kvistgaarden haven't gone away either and Celtic will definitely be looking for more firepower for the new campaign.
