The pendulum in the title race swung back in Celtic's direction at the weekend as the Hoops got the job done with a routine 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Parkhead on Saturday, followed by rivals Rangers stumbling to a 3-2 defeat up in Dingwall against Ross County.
Brendan Rodgers rather boldly stated after Saturday's victory that, "I think this is where Celtic come alive as a club.
"We have five league games to go and obviously a trip to Hampden next weekend. This is the part of the season we are excited about.
"There is still a long, long way to go. We will have to see what the fixtures bring. But I am pleased that we have found this level at this time of the season."
After dropping a number of unexpected points throughout the course of the season, Celtic's outlook seems far more positive, with all the noise and negative atmosphere now firmly in the rear view mirror.
Everything is clicking into place at a key point in the season for Celtic, but what are the main reasons behind the champions' resurgence?

he return of key players
Brendan Rodgers has commented on just how frustrating Celtic's injury issues have been this season, with there very rarely being a moment in the first three quarters of the season that he could field his full-strength Celtic team.
Over the last few weeks, however, we have seen Cameron Carter-Vickers return to full fitness after an injury-plagued campaign. The enigmatic Reo Hatate, who has been missing for most of the season, is also back in the starting XI. Joining Reo in midfield is captain Callum McGregor, who is expected to start against Aberdeen.
Whilst the injuries haven't fully subsided - Daizen Maeda is out for the season, whilst Liam Scales missed the 3-0 victory against St Mirren, the band is almost fully back together again.
Strength in depth
Normally an injury to Daizen Maeda would feel catastrophic, but Celtic have been fortunate that a lot of the so-called 'fringe' players at the club have been contributing strongly as the season has been heating up.
Nicolas Kühn and Yang Hyun-jun have both been making positive impacts in attack, with Adam Idah averaging over a goal contribution every game adding even further firepower to the attack.
At the other end of the field, Tomoki Iwata stepped up in the absence of the captain and has been turning in solid performances, which has softened the blow of losing such a key player as McGregor.
Team of winners
The final reason why the momentum has swung Celtic's way in the title race is that the majority of this Celtic team has been to the top of the mountain before.
Aside from the new signings in the summer, this Celtic squad is primarily made up of the players who won back-to-back league titles under Ange Postecoglou.
Experienced heads such as Callum McGregor, Joe Hart and James Forrest will also have been key over the last few weeks, with there being very little that the three players haven't done in their careers.
Having a strong mentality as well as the squad starting to take shape at just the right time has all contributed to pulling the title race back into Celtic's favour once again.
