Celtic will shift their focus from a fiercely contested title race as they anticipate tomorrow's Scottish Cup quarter-final showdown against David Martindale's Livingston side.
A weekend loss dashed Celtic's hopes of reclaiming the summit of the cinch Premiership for now, but they cannot afford another stumble to dent further dent their confidence this weekend against the team currently occupying the bottom of the table.
Having saw their way past Highland League outfit Buckie Thistle and St Mirren to reach this juncture, Celtic now face the Lions in their quest for a maiden visit to Hampden this season.
Naturally, following a defeat there is usually an emphasis on making some changes to the team to try and inspire an upturn in form. The opposition's lowly ranking in the league table will also mean that the amount of risk that comes with making changes is reduced, and Brendan Rodgers will most definitely be looking to make a few tweaks to his side, whether that be enforced by poor form, injuries or suspension.
Here are 3 curveballs that A Celtic State of Mind thinks we could see in tomorrow's starting line-up.
Daniel Kelly
The youngster has been brought into the Celtic team from the bench in the previous two fixtures and he has caught the eye of the Celtic support with his performances.
Coming on at half-time against Dundee to replace the injured Callum McGregor, Kelly showed some neat passing and footwork but his biggest moment of the game was an incredible finish on his weaker foot to make the scoreline 7-0.
Paulo Bernardo was hooked at half-time at Tynecastle against Hearts, with Rodgers clearly unhappy with the Portuguese's display, and that could open the door for a first-ever Celtic start for Daniel Kelly this weekend.
Fans are often critical of Celtic's lack of opportunities afforded to youth players, but injuries should provide the perfect opportunity to test the waters on Saturday.
Nicolas Kuhn
The wide areas have been the most inconsistent area of the park for Celtic this season. Rodgers has been constantly rotating the squad in that area due to the hot and cold nature of the players that occupy it.
Yang Hyun-jun looked like he was hitting a bit of form over the last few weeks, but a controversial straight red card for a high boot against Hearts last weekend means he will miss tomorrow's fixture.
With Luis Palma being strongest from the left-hand side, this could be a chance for Nicolas Kuhn to come into the team. He hasn't impressed the Celtic support so far this season, and if afforded the opportunity, he needs to turn in a big performance.
Kyogo Furuhashi
The Japanese forward has been the talisman for Celtic over the last few seasons, but he has struggled to adapt to Brendan Rodgers style of play which has seen him lose his place in the team to Norwich City loanee Adam Idah.
Rodgers has played the two together on a few occasions which has produced some promising results, and Rodgers could bring Kyogo back into the team once again in a deeper role behind Idah.
